This website is owned and operated by Jamcass Limited and is made available to you on the following terms and conditions.


By using the site and the services available on it you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions and any additional terms and conditions which expressly apply to services provided by third parties.


In these terms and conditions:

a. 'Customer' means any person, company, organisation or firm which registers for Services from us;

b. 'Order Form' means an order for Services on a form provided by us in paper form or an online form (in any format) and signed by a Customer and/or verified by login details;

c. 'Services' means all recruitment products and services made available by us from time to time;

d. 'Contract Month' means, in respect of any Order Form relating to the provision of Services for a specified period of months, the calendar month commencing on the start date specified in the Order Form and ending on the day before the same date in the next calendar month. For example, the calendar month commencing on 24 February and ending 23 March;

e. 'Contract Term' means the full term specified in the Order Form.

Data Protection

Our use of CV's and other personal information supplied by users of this site is governed by our privacy policy.

Use Of This Site

The information services available on the site are provided for the sole purpose of individuals looking for employment opportunities and career information and for employers seeking to recruit staff. It also makes available companies which may wish to offer related products or services to the lift and escalator industry.


You may use, print and download information from the site for these purposes only and for no other personal or commercial purpose. You may not otherwise copy, display, transmit or distribute any material from the site.

Employment Agencies And Employment Businesses

If you are an employment agency or an employment business (as defined by the Employment Agencies Act 1973 ('the Act')  


You may not copy, distribute or download in any form, information contained within this site.


Positions which are to be advertised from employment Agencies And Employment Businesses must be submitted through contacting liftjobsonline.com directly on external@liftjobsonline.com  where a position will be advertised as being from an external agency. Any replies or applications to an advertised position will then be forwarded to the relevant contact/department of the external agency.


Any direct or indirect reference to the external Employment Agencies And Employment Businesses will be removed from any advert whether promotional, graphical or in written form of any kind is not permitted and will be removed without notice.  Breach of these rules may result in suspension or removal of your account.


You may not register under the pretense of being a legitimate lift company and / or the guise of a registered jobseeker.  Liftjobsonline.com reserves the right to check the legitimacy of any person and/or company registered. If lift jobsonline.com concludes it is own opinion that a misrepresentation has occurred the registrant will be removed from the database and blocked from future participation. 


Notification will be sent to potentially affected members of liftjobsonline.com of a potential breach of the data protection act with advice on how to pursue legal avenues of redress.

Liftjobsobline.com will use judgment and resources to make assessment of registrants and applicants and will without communication have final judgment on whether an application is genuine without further redress.


It is your responsibility to ensure that advertisements you place on Lift Jobs Online comply with your obligations under the Act and Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2004. And all terms and conditions contained herein


You agree to comply with the Act and these regulations as they affect the conduct of your business and the advertisements you place on Lift Jobs Online.


Normal advertised rates will apply for each vacancy unless agreement is reached in writing to our registered office address prior to commencement of said advert.


Any account, profile, advert will only be constructed and administered solely by Liftjobsonline.com.

CV's And Job Advertisements

CV's and job advertisements contained on the site are provided by candidates and by prospective employers and their agents and are not always reviewed by us.


We accept no responsibility or liability for the contents of CV's or advertisements and expect candidates and prospective employers to carry out such verification procedures as are customary and prudent in the circumstances.

Services and information provided on the site by us and our third party suppliers are intended to assist in the job seeking or recruitment process. Neither we nor our third party suppliers can guarantee their suitability or prospects of success in any particular case.


You should obtain independent verification before relying on information provided on the site in circumstances which may result in loss or damage.

Service Availability

We try to ensure continuous availability of the site and all the services available on it but accept no responsibility for the consequences of interruptions or delays, however caused.


We may, additionally, alter the design and specification of the site at any time.

Limitation Of Liability

Our liability, and the liability of our third party suppliers, for any loss or damage suffered by you as the result of your use of this site is limited to your actual direct damages and, except in the case of fraud, excludes any loss of future earnings, profit or prospects or any consequential or speculative loss.


As required by law, this exclusion does not extend to death or personal injury caused by our negligence.


Our total liability to the Customer in respect of any Services, except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, is limited to the total amount paid to us during the Contract Term for such Services or £1,000, whichever is the lesser.

Credit Card Payments

liftjobsonline.com' core registration is free to use. However, some non-core services require payment to access. The payments are made by credit card using Nochex or Paypal. 


We reserve the right to make alternative payments arrangements.

Our system will only charge your credit card when the product or service you have requested has been dispatched or actioned.

Every attempt will be made to answer all enquiries within 24 hours, but we can not be held responsible for delays through no fault of Lift Jobs Online

Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with English law and all disputes shall be decided by the English courts.


Lift Jobs Online also requires job seekers to enable session cookies (enabling permanent cookies is recommended), and JavaScript, in their browser.

Commencement Of Services

We will not commence the provision of Services pursuant to any Order Form until the Order Form has been returned to us, in a form approved by us and signed by the Customer and/or verified by login details.


Prices are guaranteed for the period stated on the Order Form. Prices are confidential and may not be disclosed by the Customer.

A job posted on liftjobsonline.com will remain live for 60 days or such shorter time as we agree with the Customer. Any extension of this time may  be charged to the Customer as a new posting. Any jobs posted in addition to the agreed number of jobs per month will be charged at a price per job agreed with the customer at the time of the contract negotiation. If no price has been negotiated, a flat fee of £250 per job will be charged for each job over the agreed number. A single job is identified by its unique ID number. If a customer deletes a job and then either repost's it or posts another, this will be classed as two jobs.

If any Services to be used within any time period specified on the Order Form are not used within that period of time they may not be carried over into any subsequent period without our prior written consent. The Customer will be responsible for payment for any unused Services.


All prices include VAT. All invoices are payable at the time of order. Late payment will entitle us to suspend provision of Services.


The Customer may terminate the provision of Services under any Order without notice unless there is a request for refund for full or part of monies paid to Lift Jobs Online.


Any request made for refunds in either full of part must be made in writing by either email or post to the registered postal address with  no less than 30 days notice to expire at the end of a Contract.


Termination by the Customer before the end of the Contract Term may, at our discretion, result in loss of discounts or monies paid agreed for the entire Contract Term. An administration charge of 15% from the initial full contract sum will be applicable should a refund be requested.


Any monies to be refunded will be subject to the advertised administration percentage fee and  with the remaining balance calculated on a pro rata basis for the length of time remaining on said contract. 


Refunds are only considered if at least 30 days after the initial cancellation notice left remaining on your account.

We may terminate the provision of Services if:

i. the Customer is in material breach of these terms and conditions and has not remedied such breach within 7 days of notice specifying the breach and requiring that it be remedied, or:

ii. the Customer becomes insolvent, ceases to trade or goes into liquidation.

Site Rules

We have rules regarding the content and format of jobs posted on liftjobsonline.com. Their purpose is to ensure that users who search the site or advertise on the liftjobsonline.com database get results which are presented as clearly and informatively as possible. You agree that we may, at our discretion and without liability to you, remove from liftjobsonline.com any advertisement which is posted in breach of these rules. The rules may change from time to time and you are advised to refer to them regularly.

The Rules are:
1. No duplicating of jobs at the expense of other clients' jobs;

2. No gratuitous use of keywords in job descriptions or job titles. Gratuitous means deliberately inserting words, strings of words, or repeating job titles, with the intention of influencing position in the results listing, or increasing the number of page views;

3. Job advertisements placed on liftjobsonline.com must be for genuine vacancies only, and not for other products or services, either relating to or unrelated to recruitment including, but not limited to, affiliate schemes, pyramid selling schemes or any other so called 'business opportunity';

4. URL's or email links (live or text only) are not permitted in the body copy of the job description page. Email links are permitted from the 'send an email' link and url linking is permitted in the assigned section per personal advertisement;

5. Any company or services advertisements placed on liftjobsonline.com must be for genuine companies or services only, and not for other products or services, either relating to or unrelated to recruitment including, but not limited to, affiliate schemes, pyramid selling schemes or any other so called 'business opportunity'.



Privacy Policies

At Lift Jobs Online we make every effort to comply with our obligations under the 1998 Data Protections Act. Additionally, we understand the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of your CV and other information you may give us while using the site.


You can remove any of the information that Lift Jobs Online.com stores about you, at any time, by logging into your account and making the appropriate changes.

Registration Details

Contact and other details you supply as part of the registration process are stored by us and are used to provide you with the information you have requested.


No other website or non-related company will be supplied with any of your personal details.

Profile And CV Information

When you complete your Lift Jobs Online profile, including your CV, it will be made available for search, viewing over the Internet and downloading by registered members of Lift Jobs Online. Customers who request CV's matching your profile to be sent to them will receive your CV via email or CD-ROM. These may be other lift companies, sub-contractors or other registered individuals.


You can choose to prevent our customers from accessing your personal details, CV and profile.


You can also choose to make your personal details and your CV anonymous, you undertake this by selecting the active button on your login profile.


IMPORTANT: Your current employer may be a customer of Lift Jobs Online, or a client of one of our customers. Lift Jobs Online cannot restrict the customers who access profiles on our database and cannot be held responsible for any eventuality. It is at the registrant's discretion whether full or accurate details are displayed on profiles or CV's. Some of our customers may be located in countries outside the European Economic Area.


When you 'apply online', we store some information about you in your 'Account Area', but it is protected by your password and may only be accessed by you and the administrator of this site. Some of the information we gather from you during registration is held on our non accessible database. No other person other than the administrator of the site will have access to this information. It does not form part of our Lift Jobs Online candidate database and cannot be searched or accessed by Lift Jobs Online customers. You can delete your 'profile/account' at any time.


Your CV can only be viewed by a Lift Jobs Online customer and by completing and activating a profile you are agreeing to this.


If you choose to create a profile and complete an online CV on our database, we rely on you to ensure that your details are kept up to date. You should update your CV at least every 6 months, particularly if your contact details have changed.


Once your profile and CV are on our database we may contact you using your most recent contact details to ask whether you want to remain a member. If we do not hear from you, your profile and CV may be removed from our database.


Please note that Lift Jobs Online reserves the right to remove from our database CV which include any content that we consider to be illegal or offensive. We will also remove a CV if a complaint is upheld, which has been made against it.


Lift Jobs Online reserves the right to withdraw / deny any membership application or current membership account if it is felt it is not in the interests or detrimental to Lift Jobs Online, immediate suspension is likely of any account while any issues like this arise. We will attempt to resolve issues effectively within 7 working days.


Cookies are small pieces of information stored by us on your computer which enable us to identify you when you access the Lift Jobs Online website and to provide you with a convenient means of access.


The cookies we use also protect the integrity of registered usernames and passwords and limit access to 'paid for' services. We also use cookies to collect aggregate statistical information about the use of our site.
